The CD packaging of Mark Fry’s “I Lived in Trees” album comes with a packet of Rowan tree seeds. How awesome is that! Since their title is “I lived in trees”, then they must’ve thought ‘hey, why not give away seeds?’. Seeds don’t cost a lot but they’d make as hip giveaways. Clever!
I wish more musicians and designers would think of adding simple freebies to their albums.

What I like about this CD packaging is that the individual items, when bundled together, creates a lovely nostalgic feel. It’s like a box of goodies from childhood.
Seed packets is always a good idea. Katy Perry also did it with her Prism album.
Do you like this CD packaging?
