You can actually sew your messages or artwork on this cover! Sew cool, isn’t it? This was designed by the Singaporead-based agency Asylum in 2008 for the Christmas songs by Eunice Elizabeth Olsen and Rennie Gomes.
“We have created a sleeve where you can customize your message [or artwork] to your loved ones. You can sew your own messages or icons through the holes with the needle and thread that comes with the packaging”.
There are 3 reasons why you should love this CD packaging: One, it hones your sewing skills. Two, it keeps you busy for at least an hour. And three, it takes you back to the time you first learned how to cross stitch. This is in the same category with the Bosco’s bubble wrap CD packaging and Zinkplaat’s scatch-off ink packaging. I will name the category- “Best CDs to bring when visiting the in-laws”(because at least you’d have something to do when you run out of things to talk about).
