Creative Agency UVMW was asked by Urbanski to create CD cover art for the album “Selected Works” as well as visual setting of his concert tour.
A key element of the cover art was the photograph by Michał Szlaga. One of the frames from his project “Polska 2004-2006” matched the ambience of the album, which can at times be difficult, cold and challenging. The road motif is not accidental, this album showcases the path URBANSKI took to evolve as an artist.
The main goal was to create a minimalist project which could simply highlight great music. The interior of the album sleeve was left clear so that the entire limited edition of the album could be covered by drawings by the artist himself, corresponding well with the rest of the project.
