Be fashionably late. Always. It is a good idea if you play 30 to 45 minutes late because for sure, there would be more people present in the venue by then. You are simply concerned for those late fans who came from other cities just to see you. The fans will forgive your tardiness once they see your awesome performance. Be proud of yourself. There is nothing wrong with telling your fans the truth, right? How would they find out your latest achievements if you won’t tell them? And make sure you reiterate the important information every so often so they remember it by heart and share it to others. Share your natural scent. Well, the sense of smell is said to be connected to our pituitary glands or something that’s related to emotions. The chemicals released by our body creates a sort of intimacy to those who smell it. So spread your love. Don’t shower 3 days before your concert. They’ll adore you for it. Do not give in to their whims when they want “more” songs. When they shout “more” during your concert, play deaf or say something important/funny to stop their “more”-ing. We know how it usually goes. You give them one more song the first time they ask for more and they would not stop asking for more. It has to end. Better yet, it should not even start. Do not spoil your fans. Be true to what you feel. If you are pissed off, express what you feel. If you do not like what somebody is doing to something, share it to your fans. They would love you more for being REAL. Do what Kanye did to Taylor at the MTV awards. Show your true colors. Be real. It’s a free country. Cancel shows if you have to. If you feel like you can’t perform another song, by all means cancel another show. You need to take a break or else you’ll explode. Your fans would get a bit depressed but they’ll understand. For sure they would book for your next concert. The important thing is that you’re not tired. Be drunk or high before a show. You perform your best when you’re groggy and high so there definitely is nothing wrong with it. _______________________________________________________________________ Unified Manufacturing is a custom CD/DVD and Vinyl Manufacturing facility based on both sides of the US. “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and asked (forced) me to read it. I’m glad she did because I learned a lot about finances and life. The book is basically about a young man who has two fathers: the first was his biological father – the poor dad – and the other was the father […]
