We here at Unified are obsessed with beautiful CD packaging. We’ve been making creative releases since 2008 and lovely packaging has become an obsession of ours. We even have a Pinterest page dedicated to all things media packaging. If you want to make a really badass album with cool CD packaging, get a quote or shoot us an email.
The CD is dead. No one buys CDs anymore. Who needs it nowadays when we can easily download stuff online? Hmmm…maybe we should change how we look at CDs in the digital age. CDs shouldn’t just be a storage for music anymore; CDs should be a form of the artist’s self-expression, a work of art, a collector’s item, a marketing tool.
Mike Patton’s “Nature-inspired” CD for the The Solitude of Prime Numbers is one great example of using a CD as a creative expression and branding tool. Just take a look at how marvellous it is. Its a good piece of novelty item you can add to your collection. And, if you want to give it to someone as a gift, there’s no need to buy a wrapper.
