What we love about the pyramid-shaped CD packaging is that it instantly stands out yet it’s not that expensive to make. Not at all! It’s probably one of the cheapest ways to come up with a creative box set without blowing big bucks. Plus, we assure you that with this type of packaging, your media is super safe. Here are some of the most stunning pyramid-shaped CD cases:
SOMETIME- ACID MAKE-OUT
The CD packaging is a blue pyramid, which gave it an extra life as an art piece that people put in their living room instead of hidden in a shelf where most or all CD end up.

YANN TIERSEN (Student Work)
A hypothetical special edition of three CDs by the French artist Yann Tiersen. Created as a curricular project, this project involved the design of the packaging, photographs and graphics by the author. It was intended to convey the magical and suggestive universe of music, as well as a sinister sphere that can be perceived in some themes. The packaging is based on the importance of number three, resorting to the triangular geometric shape, which contrasts with the circular shapes of the CDs.

ITHYPHALLIC- NILE
“Ithyphallic” means Erected Phallus in ancient Greek. Limited to 1000 copies, this special edition CD box set contains “Ithyphallic” album in limited digipak edition, set of postcards, papyrus scroll with the lyrics printed on it, and Nuclear Blast certificate of numbered copy.
