Each of the CD packaging of Symon Hajjar‘s “There is Always Love” EP is hand-stamped. For the front cover, they used a stamp with a rocker mount so that strong and consistent pressure could be applied. For back cover, they used a regular flat stamp. If you want to do the same, they advice using an ink pad much larger than the face of the stamp so the work is seamless and fast or to let us do the work.
This is a great way to make affordable CD packaging because you only need assembled cardboards, stamp, and lots of ink (which is totally affordable). So if you have thousands of CDs to make, this is not a very bad idea. It gets cheaper by the volume. However, if you’re not good at it, it could get messy and this only works well if it’s done right.
